Peace and Conflict Transformation: Communication

This credential develops community leaders in peace and reconciliation with emphasis on effectiveness in communication. This participant understands communication styles and the communication cycle. They developed skills in active listening, managing stress, empathy-building and mediation. They can analyse conflict, its causes and effects. They understand social justice, the role of communication in conflict transformation, and UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
