They have developed understanding of the role and nature of mentoring, and some mentoring models that can be used. They have understood how to organise mentoring activities and plan for effective 1:1 mentoring sessions.
This person has undertaken at least 3 hours of effective mentoring in an organisation or on a voluntary basis. They have used mentoring skills to practice key listening and questioning techniques. They have reflected on their own performance, then defined goals, progress and actions required to improve their mentoring practice.
